Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears battle it out in prime-time tonight. Happily, no singing required

Forget Obama vs. Romney: Tonight it’s Britney Spears vs. Christina Aguilera. Don’t get too excited – we’re talking about primetime, so that means no jello wrestling. The second season of The X-Factor premieres tonight against the last minute addition of a third episode of The Voice this week. Surprise! Seems like a completely calculated move given the X-Factor has been banking on the addition of Britney to the judging panel to give it the ratings boost it so desperately needs. So while we’re having our own internal battle over whether to keep our alliances to Cee-Lo’s cat or Simon’s deep-V shirts, at the end of the day (or by 8pm EST tonight) it’s up to you to decide how you prefer your ‘90s pop starlets:
