Ben & Jerry’s Is Making A “30 Rock” Flavor

A delicious end to your favorite sitcom.

A delicious end to your favorite sitcom.

To all the 30 Rock fans: bummed that your favorite show is ending? Well, after Thursday’s grand finale you’ll be able to drown your sorrows in a pint of 30 Rock-themed Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. You can also commemorate the show’s 7-season run by picking up the January/February issue of Maxim with the lovely Katrina Bowden on the cover, but hey, we’re not telling you what to do.

For those of you able to travel to New York, Ben & Jerry’s is throwing a viewing party at Latitude Bar & Lounge, not far from Rockefeller Center, where they’ll unveil their newest celebrity flavor. If you’re a fan of frozen treats and funny people then you’ll remember past special editions have included Stephen Colbert’s “Americone Dream,” Jimmy Fallon’s “Late Night Snack,” Monty Python’s “Vermonty Python,” and Alec Baldwin’s very own “Schweddy Balls,” an homage to his SNL skit.

Ben & Jerry’s hasn’t provided any clues as to what the flavor will actually be, but we have to assume it will be something lemon-y (after Liz Lemon) or, if they’re totally catering to the stoners out there, maybe something with Cheesy Blasters. Or if they’re feeling lazy they can just bring Tracy Jordan’s fictional Ben & Jerry’s flavor, “Adultaraisin,” to life.

If you can’t make it to the tasting/viewing party, have no fear: the 30 Rock flavor will be available in Ben & Jerry’s shops in February and grocery stores shortly thereafter. And if you’re too lazy to even get off your couch in the middle of a 30 Rock marathon on Netflix, you can order the ice cream online.
