The New ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Trailer Is Here, and It’s Totally Epic

HELL YES.

Despite a few promotional images and an all-to-brief teaser, we haven’t had much of a feel for what Denis Villeneuve’s long-awaited Blade Runner sequel will look like.

Now the first-ever full-length trailer for Blade Runner 2049 is here, and holy hell…we’re totally pumped.

We wouldn’t be surprised if this trailer breaks the viewing records set by the IT remake a few months ago. In addition to setting the stage for the visually arresting film, it provides a first look at Jared Leto‘s weirdo villain character (what’s up with those eyes?) as well as Robin Wright’s role role as a sleek replicant hunter (like Claire Underwood of the future).

The ’80s-inspired synths, neon-tinged visuals and resurgence of Harrison Ford‘s grizzled Deckard character are sure to elicit nostalgia for the original. But the visually arresting direction from Denis Villeneuve (Arrival) has us even more elated for what’s to come.

Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters on November 22.
