Bradley Cooper Says He Would ‘Never’ Sleep With Jennifer Lawrence

Whatever you say, Cooper.

If you’ve been waiting for Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence to finally admit the reason they do almost every movie together is because they prefer to practice their lines in bed, you’re out of luck.

Once again, Cooper has dismissed the possibility that he and Lawrence are secretly lovers, this time in an interview on The Howard Stern Show to promote his new movie Burnt (which, incredulously, Jennifer Lawrence is not in).

During the show, Stern asked the question that’s on everyone’s mind when they think about Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper (except when I think about it, I imagine David O. Russell directing them, because I’m a creep and so is he): “I guess the question has to be answered: When are you two going to have sex? Everyone’s been waiting for that.”

Cooper answered with a firm and rather convincing “Never.”

“It just didn’t happen,” he said. “It’s not the way we are together.”

A few years back, Cooper dismissed a red carpet question about a J. Law romance by pointing out that she is in fact 15 years younger than him. “And that became a thing because the girl I was seeing was as young as she was.”

Stern didn’t miss an opportunity to get in a dig: “In a way, is she on the verge of being too old to be with you?”

“Absolutely not,” Cooper said. “That’s a bit insulting. That hurt.”

Joy, the next installment of the Bradley Cooper-Jennifer Lawrence show, opens on Christmas Day.
