Nearly Half of Kim Kardashian’s Instagram Followers are Fake, Report Reveals

Find out which celebrities have the most fake followers.

Social media-savvy celebrities Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift, Ellen DeGeneres, and Ariana Grande have massive amounts of fake followers on Instagram and Twitter, according to a new report.

A new investigation by ICMP ran the accounts of 99 celebrities in the sports and entertainment industry through the measuring software IG Audit, and determined which of them had the most fake followers respective to their total follower count.

It was revealed that Ellen DeGeneres has the highest number of fake followers, with 58 percent of her 75.6 million Instagram followers being fake.

Korean boy band BTS’s 20 million following came second with 48 percent fake followers, followed by Kourtney Kardashian with 49 percent fakeness out of 80.7 million followers.

Next up are Taylor Swift with 49 percent, and Ariana Grande with 46 percent.

Both Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian were found to have 44 percent fake followers, and other honorable mentions include Miley Cyrus (45 percent), Kevin Hart (44 percent), and Drake (38 percent).
