Pop superstar Charli XCX has officially announced that her seventh studio album, titled Music, Fashion, Film, will be released this summer.

The 11-track record is scheduled for release on July 24, according to the chart-topping British singer-songwriter. The announcement follows the massive success of the former Maxim cover star’s previous album, Brat, which sparked a widespread cultural phenomenon last year.

The 33-year-old phenom shared the news on social media alongside a striking black-and-white photograph believed to be the new album’s cover art. The image features an unexpected trio of creative icons: filmmaker Martin Scorsese, fashion designer Marc Jacobs, and Velvet Underground founder John Cale. In the photograph, Jacobs is seen leaning against a wall in the background, while the Oscar-winning director Scorsese and veteran musical trailblazer Cale sit at a worn table featuring an ashtray.

“My new album Music, Fashion, Film is out July 24th,” Charli wrote to her 9.1 million followers. “11 songs, 30 minutes, 5 seconds. Available to pre order now, love you xx.” The IG announcement drew immediate excitement from fans and celebrities alike. Jacobs commented on the post, writing, “Thank you Charli. So grateful to be included.”

Following the main announcement, the “Boom Clap” and “I Love It” singer teased what appears to be an upcoming track on her secondary Instagram account, @b.sides.

The black-and-white video post shows her posing on a bed with the new album’s title layered over the footage, accompanied by the caption: “I’m not a bad girl anymore I promiseeee ;).” The black-and-white vibe seems to be a current favorite of Charli’s—the color scheme also graces her most popular recent IG selfie on her main feed featuring a tiny bikini top.

The singer has lately used her secondary account to distribute exclusive B-side tracks to accompany her latest singles, the guitar-drenched “Rock Music” and the fashion catwalk-inspired “SS26.” These tracks have so far remained exclusive to the social media page or available solely on physical vinyl records.
