‘Cobra Kai’ Season 4 Trailer: Two Dojos Join Forces To Beat Cobra Kai at All Valley Karate Tournament
The Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos are taking on Cobra Kai…and whoever loses must hang up their gi.
Cobra Kai is the rare case of a reboot that’s actually better than the original source material, so it’s good to see that Netflix has dropped a Season 4 trailer for the fun, campy series inspired by the original The Karate Kid movie.
The show’s never-ending dojo battles are kicked up a notch with the new trailer, which shows Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence joining forces to defeat Cobra Kai at the All-Valley Karate tournament–all set to the beat of a Def Leppard tune from Johnny’s old-school mixtape.
And oh yeah, a former Cobra Kai member from the original movie resurfaces to help Cobra Kai leader John Kreese defeat Daniel and Johnny.
Watch the trailer above and check out the official synopsis here:
COBRA KAI takes place over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament with the continuation of the inescapable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). Season 4 finds the Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos joining forces to take down Cobra Kai at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament… and whoever loses must hang up their gi.
As Samantha and Miguel try to maintain the dojo alliance and Robby goes all in at Cobra Kai, the fate of the Valley has never been more precarious. What tricks does Kreese have up his sleeve? Can Daniel and Johnny bury their decades-long hatchet to defeat Kreese? Or will Cobra Kai become the face of karate in the valley?
Season 4 of Cobra Kai premieres December 31 exclusively on Netflix.
