Cris Cyborg Says She’d ‘Kill’ Ronda Rousey in the Octagon

But will they ever actually fight?

UFC fans will seemingly never tire of fantasizing about a fight between Ronda Rousey and Cris “Cyborg” Justino. They’ve been talking about it for years and even now, with Ronda no where close to returning to the Octagon, it remains a tantalizing topic. 

That’s why a TMZ photog who found Cyborg at the airport asked her what would happen in a potential bout with Rousey. Her answer: “I would kill her.”

So cold. So callous. It’s almost like she believes it.

This isn’t the first time Rousey and Cyborg have traded barbs. In the past, Rousey has dogged Cyborg for failed a drug test in 2012 and her difficulty getting down to 125 pounds. “I prefer [an opponent] who makes weight and doesn’t do drugs,” Rousey told Ariel Helwani when he asked about a potential fight last summer. 

That comment prompted Cyborg to threaten legal action. 

Given Rousey’s continued absence from the UFC, a fight between her and Cyborg seems a long way off, if it ever happens at all. But that hasn’t stopped the Brazilian from taunting the former bantamweight champ. 

At least, we think this is taunting.
