The Daily Heat Index: Chrissy Teigen Had the Best 30th Birthday Ever
Plus, closed captioning fails Eli Manning, and rumors swirl about cameo appearances in the new Spider Man.
Here’s a daily dose of what’s heating up the internet:
Happy Birthday, Chrissy Teigen
John Legend definitely won ‘Husband of the Year’ award after serenading beautiful wife (and star LSB hostess) Chrissy Teigen during her birthday bash at New York’s Comedy Cellar on Saturday. Legend took the stage and led the crowd in a heartwarming rendition of “Happy Birthday,” presenting his lovely lady with a mondo cake before pulling comedian Dave Chappelle on stage for a surprise performance. It doesn’t get any better than that.

A Little Help From His Friends
During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Avengers stars Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. talk about their time filming in sweaty, sticky, ‘Hotlanta’ for Captain America: Civil War. While the three bantered back and forth about the movie’s success, intricate costumes, and Downey Jr’s need to bring all his furniture with him wherever he goes, the two bring up that they’ll be back in good ‘ol Georgia soon to film again. For what? We have no idea, but it makes perfect sense that they’ll be joining Tom Holland for the 2017 Spider Man reboot. Holland just confirmed it’s filming location, and with the web-slinger set to make an appearance in Civil War, we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Tony Stark and Cap stand by his side when he gets his own solo film. Fingers crossed!
Penguin Football
“This is not a goode good decision by Eli Man penguin boy,” read TV screens during Sunday night’s football game. Yes, the Giants lost, and that probably makes Eli Manning (and Giants fans) sad. But whoever was typing out the closed captioning was obviously not a Giants fan, and decided to add insult to injury by calling Eli Manning “Penguin Boy” through some kind of epic typo. If anything, people shouldn’t be mad; penguins are awesome and Eli Manning is a beautiful flightless bird, at best.
