The Daily Heat Index: Here’s What We Learned from Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘Katniss’
Plus, Zoolander 2 releases posters, we watch Anna Faris give crying lessons, and the trailer for X-Men Apocalypse is arriving sooner than we thought.
Here’s a daily dose of what’s heating up the internet:
JLaw Compares Kissing Her Co-Stars
An MTV interview with the stars of The Hunger Games went from 0 to 100 real quick. Jennifer Lawrence wants people to learn from Katniss that one person is enough to change the world. So empowering, right? Then, when asked to compare kissing Chris Pratt to her Hunger Games co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, JLaw shifted gears to show her truly wacky side, saying “It doesn’t feel as much like making out with a family member. Not that I’m against that—I’m from Kentucky.” And this is why we love her.
X-Men Apocalypse Trailer to Premiere…
with Star Wars: The Force Awakens! After months and months of teasing and glorious Instagrams of Olivia Munn wielding a sword, we’ll finally get to see our favorite mutants back in action for what’ll surely be an epic addition to the franchise. The trailer will supposedly join the first official look at Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, so if even if you aren’t interesting in traveling to a galaxy, far, far away, a trip to the theater might be worth it. Trailers are the best part, anyway.
Blue Steel Returns
The sequel to 2001’s Zoolander has been in the making for what feels like an eternity, but lo and behold, Ben Stiller is back and better than ever. In newly released posters to promote Zoolander 2, set to hit theaters February 12th, model superstar Derek Zoolander joins former rival-turned bestie Hansel, showing they’ve still got what it takes to rule the runway with some up-to-date selfie action. Get your orange mocha frappuccino’s ready – this is going to be a good one.

Crocodile Tears
Apparently crying on camera doesn’t come too easily for Anna Faris, so she revealed her handy dandy trick on how she brings on the waterworks on Tuesday’s Late Late Show. Her secret? Vicks VapoRub’s baby cousin, a menthol stick. A little dab in each eye, and the tears start rolling. She demonstrated how effective the tiny minty stick is by rubbing it in Joshua Jackson’s and James Corden’s eyes, who had big, juicy tears streaming down their faces in no time.
