Here's your daily dose of what's heating up the internet:
A Fox Reboot Will Focus on the Females
Reboots have become all the rage in the last few months, with news of several screen favorites coming back for another round. This time, despite lackluster reviews, the 2003 film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen will be getting the same treatment, but with a twist. Thanks to some influence from Mad Max: Fury Road, producer John Davis stated that the reboot will be a little less 'gentlemen-ly' and more female centric. Peta Wilson's take on vampiric Mina Harker was a highlight from the original, so we wouldn't be opposed to seeing a few more Victorian-era vixens kicking some ass.
Oh, What a Lovely Day...
George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road will hit Blu-ray and DVD on September 1, and three deleted scenes from the latest installment in the bloody post-apocalyptic franchise are already circulating online. The sequences add an extra dimension to the brutality of the Mad Max universe, but brace yourself: The second sequence, involving a baby, is off-putting to say the least.
If You Want to Feel Like a Kid Again
Though Disney has a 14-acre dedicated Star Wars land in the works, the company still has a soft spot for the less celestially inclined. An 11-acre Florida-based Toy Story land is also in the works that'll find you scaled down to the size of Buzz and Woody for a trip through a recreation of Andy's back yard.
Olivia Munn Can Do No Wrong
So far, we've been crazy impressed with how Olivia Munn has been throwing herself into the role of Psylocke in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. Watch the latest Instagram vid of her training sessions, showing her at work with swords and suspension cables. Work, girl.
