Forget SPF and sunglasses. Sometimes a beautiful summer afternoon is best spent indoors with likeminded sad sacks and day-drunks. The bar at Paradise Park opens at 11AM to get a head start in filling your emptiness with $6 pitchers of beer and deep-fried snacks. In a trashy room covered with astroturf and wood paneling, live bands play throughout the day. For a taste of irony, request “Here Comes The Sun.”
