Elizabeth Olsen Says We Should Be Very Afraid Of Captain America: Civil War
The talented actress said the third installment of the Captain America franchise is its darkest yet.
The talented third of the Olsen sisters is touting the latest Marvel installment, Captain America:Civil War, as the “best one” yet. But don’t expect a fun, lighthearted ride.
Elizabeth Olsen talked to the French magazine Premiere about her anticipation for the third Captain Americainstallment. “It’s a movie about people, as opposed to robots this time,” Olsen said. “So it’s darker and it’s allowed to be darker because it gets more in the mindset of humans rather than machines.”
“I am very excited to see it myself,” she added. “I only worked on set for five weeks, so I wasn’t there for the majority of it. Daniel Brühl is an incredible actor and he’s playing the main villain in it, and he’s incredible.”
Of course, Olsen is no stranger to dark stories. The younger sister of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen wowed audience with her performance in the sinister and deeply unsettling Martha Marcy May Marlene. She has since appeared in bigger-budget movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Godzilla.
Captain America: Civil War, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is set for a May 2016 premiere.
