Ellie Goulding Rides a Horse Through a Casino In Her New Video

“On My Mind” takes the singer on a Vegas revenge adventure. 

Ellie Goulding has been teasing the release of her upcoming album Delirium (Out November 6) for some time now. In July she announced it had been completed by posting an Instagram of London’s Abbey Road Studios with the caption “that’s a wrap,” but it wasn’t until last week that we heard something from it with the release of the first single, “On My Mind.” Today, to improve on what would otherwise be a dreary Monday, she gave us the video for it.  If you’ve never thought about riding a horse through a Vegas casino, this might put the idea in your head.

Complex pontificates that the track is thought to be an answer to ubiquitous ginger Ed Sheeran’ s  “Don’t” that was thought to be about an encounter with Goulding in a hotel. As the story goes, Goulding cheated on Sheeran with One Direction’s Niall Horan on the same hotel floor that Sheeran was also staying on. Ouch.
