A New Jersey bakery has invented a new way to indulge in a little hair of the dog with their Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey-spiked bagel.
Alex Berkowitz, owner of The Bagel Nook in Freehold, NJ, concocted the now-viral breakfast treat by taking freshly baked cinnamon-sugar bagels and finishing them in a boozy Fireball reduction.

From there, they’re dusted with powdered sugar and served with a spread of apple pie-flavored cream cheese. Not gagging yet? Then read on, you beautiful bastard!
Speaking to Elite Daily, Berowitz revealed the bizarre origin story behind the liquored-up treat.
“Cubby over at 103.5 asked us to make a special Fireball bagel for him for his birthday in exchange for passes to meet the Backstreet Boys.” We can only assume those tickets were from 1999.
If you can’t quite stomach the taste of Fireball after a night on the town, The Bagel Nook also pack their baked goods with Oreos, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, and whatever other junk food they can cram inside.

If you’re in the area, you can try it out in-house for $5. Although the alcohol is cooked out in the reduction process, only customers ages 21 and over can purchase one.
Strange as it may seem, it’s gotta be better than green apple guacamole.
