Michael Fassbender flips, and dives, and slices his way through the parkour-packed first trailer for Assassin's Creed.
The Irish actor, perhaps best known for his metal-bending tricks in the X-Men franchise, brings this acclaimed video game series to life as both criminal Callum Lynch and his ancestor, Aguilar de Nerha, a well-trained assassin during the Spanish Inquisition.
Luckily, Fassbender's admittance to EW that he wasn't much of a video game fan before filming shouldn't matter much, as the movie takes a little bit of a different approach with original characters to expand existing storylines.
With hoods up and blades out, it looks like Fassbender is handling himself just fine. Co-starring Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, and Michael K. Williams, Assassin's Creed hits theaters on December 21st.
