Watch the Ultra-Intense Red-Band Trailer for ‘The Predator’ Reboot

It’s the year’s most anticipated sci-fi film.

The first key plot details about The Predator were reported earlier this year when director Shane Black privately screened the official trailer at CinemaCon. Now Predator franchise fans everywhere finally get to see what these “genetically upgraded” human hunters look like. 

As promised, they’re absolutely terrifying. Given that their unevolved ancestor nearly killed Ah-nuld at the end of the original 1987 movie, we’re guessing very few of the reboot’s protagonists will survive. 

Here’s the official synopsis with more details: 

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series.

Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species.

When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

The Predator stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey and Yvonne Strahovski.
