First X-Files Trailer Released, Tells Us Very Little, We’re Still Here for It

We’ll always want to believe.

X-Files, the show of yesteryear beloved by conspiracy theorists and the rest of us folks alike, is returning to Fox for a six-episode revival on January 24, 2016. The ill-fitting pantsuits are gone (and so are the massive cell phones, we’re assuming), and Gillian Anderson has somehow managed to age backwards. Past that, this teaser trailer doesn’t tell us all that much. But who cares? It’s more information than we got in Fox’s “201 Days of X-Files” promo and it’s ominous as hell. Next up, will we see aliens? UFOs? Scully and Mulder doing kissing again? We want to believe.
