We're still a long way away from the Memorial Day weekend release of X-Men: Apocalypse, but 20th Century Fox has released the first full-length trailer, and it's something to behold.
The Brian Singer-helmed sequel is expected to the final in a trilogy that began with X-Men: First Class. The third installment of the Marvel universe franchise finds Apocalypse, the original mutant, awake for the first time in thousands of years, and he doesn't like what he sees. Jennifer Lawrence returns as Raven, and James McAvoy as Professor X. The all-star cast also includes Rose Byrne, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult.
The trailer will be seen in theaters next week during screenings ofStar Wars: The Force Awakens, but is online now. X-Men: Apocalypse opens on May 27.
