The Trippy, Muppet-filled ‘Fraggle Rock’ Is Returning to HBO

Move over Westworld—HBO is about to bring back a classic show with an even weirder premise than your trippy western sci-fi.
Fraggle Rock, Jim Henson’s legendary 1983 series, will making its digitally remastered return to the cable channel by the year’s end, according to the Jim Henson Company.
The puppet-centric creation follows the cave lives of a variety of underground creatures, including Fraggles, Doozers, and Gorgs. Throughout its 5 season, 96-episode run, viewers were able to witness countless adventures that taught kids (and stoners) important life lessons, usually through goofy-yet-catchy songs.
