This Guy Built A Fallout Vault Door In His Basement

Tunnel Snakes rule.

Are you a Fallout fan? How big of a fan are you? Are you willing to build a setpiece that will act as a permanent fixture of your home to proclaim your undying love for the popular role-playing game from Bethesda?

Imgur user TreyHill is, as he’s built his very own functional vault door straight from the post-apocalyptic Wasteland of Fallout in preparation for Fallout 4’s November release. The vault door opens up with the help of good, old-fashioned manual labor, but it’s such a painstaking rendition of a vault door from the games that you can’t help but be impressed.

Inside the vault is TreyHill’s gaming room. You probably won’t find any bottle caps or NukaCola drinks within, but with the Vault-Tec logo and “Vault 404” emblazoned on the inside, it’s safe to assume there’s a whole lot of cool in there. It’s impressive work to be sure, and even developer Bethesda has been sharing the door with fans. That’s how you know you’ve made it. Hey TreyHill, mind doing us up next?
