‘Hellboy’ Trailer Reveals Wild First Look at R-Rated Reboot

Watch David Harbour from “Stranger Things” blow away monsters in this ultra violent new clip.

Stranger Things star David Harbour makes for one menacing half-human, half-demon in the new trailer for Hellboy. 

The actor is every bit as red and roided-out as he was when Lionsgate unveiled a first look at the devilish superhero last year. 

We don’t know a lot about the premise, other than Hellboy will take on Milla Jovovich’s Nimue, a medieval British sorceress hellbent (get it?) on annihilating mankind.  

Unlike Guillermo del Toro’s takes on Mike Mignola’s Dark Horse Comics franchise, the new reboot will get an R-rating. It looks like director Neil Marshall might be going for the irreverent blend of humor and violence championed by the Deadpool movies. 

At one point, Hellboy blasts the brains out of a foe with a ridiculously high-powered revolver to the tune of Billy Idol’s “Mony Mony.” It has potential!

Also starring Ian McShane, Daniel Dae Kim and Sasha Lane, Hellboy is slated to hit theaters on April 12, 2019.
