HIM and HER Valentine Cocktails
Definitely better than his and her towels.
The big V-D is coming up and nope, we’re not talking about something gross.
We’re talking about Valentine’s Day…
You probably think Valentine’s is just for women, and it’s all about candy and flowers.
But it’s for women and men, and it’s also about booze!
Master Mixologist Ergys Dizdari at Filini Bar & Restaurant in Chicago created two Valentine-themed drinks, tailored to the different palates of men and women. Both are refreshing, with strawberry and ginger juice, but one has bourbon and the other has vanilla vodka. Bet you can’t guess which sex gets which!
HIM
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Weller Bourbon
0.5 oz. Cherry Heering
1 oz. strawberry/ginger juice
.75 oz. simple syrup
.75 oz. lemon juice
1 egg white
Directions:
Combine with ice and shake together. Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon.
HER
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Stoli Vanilla Vodka
0.5 oz Amaretto
1 oz strawberry/ginger juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
3/4 oz lemon juice
1 egg white
Directions:
Combine with ice and shake together. Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon.
