Billie Joe Armstrong’s Son Is Following in His Dad’s Footsteps

The son of Green Day’s frontman has signed to Burger Records.

The general public loves to turn a watchful eye to the children of celebrities. We can’t help but be filled with curiosity over how closely their adult lives will resemble the exceptional lives of their parents. Is Suri Cruise going to grow up to be a Scientologist? Is North West gonna let anyone finish? Is Paris Jackson gonna do the strangest things she can possibly think of for the totality of her life? We’ll just have to wait and see. One celebrity child who we DO have life confirmation on is Jakob Armstrong, 16-year-old kid of Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong. Young Armstrong has signed to Burger Records and is planning to release his first tape. Here’s a taste of what’s to come:

Jakob (who prefers to use “Danger” instead of Armstrong for his last name) is also following in the footsteps of older brother Joey, whose band Swmrs are are signed to Burger as well.
