Since the future of the film franchise remains up in the air, James Bond fanatics will have to crack open a book for 007's latest exploits.
Author Anthony Horowitz, one of many novelists to tackle the iconic series first created by Ian Fleming, recently teased on Twitter that he was so excited for his next project, it was giving him insomnia.
When fans pressed him, he admitted he wasn't actually hinting at the next Bond book... but one will come out in 2018, he assured.
No details on the plot are known, but Horowitz told the BBC it opens with a "killer" opening line: "I haven't got a title yet, and I've got a killer first line, which I can't tell you. It's the only reason I want to write the book, really."
Hopefully he's aware that "The name's Bond... James Bond" is probably already taken.
