James Franco Tasked With Stopping JFK’s Assassination
Who better to trust with changing the entire course of American history than this guy?
Back in September, Hulu picked up 11/22/63: a nine-hour time-travel series by J.J. Abrams, based on a Stephen King novel of the same name. Today, they announced that James Franco’s been cast as the lead. He’ll be playing English teacher Jake Epping, who travels back in time trying to stop President John F. Kennedy from being assassinated. Unfortunately, a love affair, Lee Harvey Oswald, and all the other pesky trappings of traveling back in time get in the way of him fulfilling his mission. No word yet on who’s been cast as Oswald, but we’re pulling for Seth Rogen.
America’s in this guy’s hands now.
