Watch: Matt Damon Is an Absolute Beast In the Trailer for ‘Jason Bourne’

“My God, that’s Jason Bourne.”

Jason Bourne is back, and he’s pissed.

The trailer for the fifth Bourne movie — titled simply Jason Bourne — aired during Sunday’s super bowl, revealing a very ripped Matt Damon reprising his role as the amnesiac spy. Believe it or not, but it’s been nearly ten years since we’ve seen Damon as Jason Bourne: The franchise attempted a revival in 2012 with Jeremy Renner as the lead, but was not successful (maybe because Jeremy Renner is the worst?)

Either way, we’re glad to see that the Bourne franchise has returned to its roots (with Paul Greengrass as director) and our protagonist in such great shape — at least physically. 

The teaser doesn’t tell us much, but it does suggest that Bourne is harboring some resentments, which is understandable. “I remember everything,” he growls at one point, and has a shirtless throw-down in another scene. Why so serious, Jason?
