Key and Peele are Joining the Cast of the “Fargo” TV Show

And we’re sure they’ll be just wonderful, don’t cha know?

Here’s some entertainment news we were not expecting at all: Word has it that the stars of Comedy Central‘s wonderfully hilarious Key and Peele will be joining the cast of the upcoming TV adaptation of Fargo, which is set to air on FX. Apparently, the funnymen will be playing “FBI partners who, after a violent run-in with hit-man Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton), become obsessed with finding him again.” Needless to say we’re psyched, especially considering the caliber of the rest of the cast—Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks, Bob Odenkirk, and, of course Thornton—and that Joel and Ethan Coen, who made the original film, are on board as executive producers. And if it sucks, well, we’ll have to make sure whatever suit green-lighted the project ends up like this guy.
