Here’s How You Can Attend Lemmy’s Memorial Service via the Wonder of Computers
Openly weep from the comfort of your own home.
Fans of Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister are still reeling from his loss to a brief fight with cancer on December 28th, just days after his 70th birthday. For anyone who’s been wishing they could be present at his final sendoff to say their respects, there’s a way you can do that from the comfort of your home, where no one can see you unleash hot tears into your dirty coffee mug filled with whisky. (We only presume that’s what you’ll be doing because that’s what we’ll be doing.)
The remaining members of Motörhead announced via Facebook that Lemmy’s memorial service will be streaming live from Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood on YouTube between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. PST on Saturday January 9th.
And if you live in Los Angeles, Lemmy’s favorite bar, The Rainbow Bar and Grill, will be hosting a private service from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. PST the evening of the memorial.
