Fans have been raving about the recently released Street Fighter V, and Machinima is ready to cash into all that fervor with their upcoming live-action miniseries Street Fighter: Resurrection. Street Fighter: Resurrection is the sequel to Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, which came out in mid-2014, around the same time Ultra Street Fighter IV did.

Street Fighter: Resurrection brings back Ryu and Ken from every Street Fighter product ever, teamed up to go after Charlie Nash (who’s back from the dead, I guess). Needless to say, this is a non-canon entry.
If you want to check it out, it will begin airing the first of its five episodes on the Machinima YouTube channel and Verizon’s go90 app.

Regardless of how it turns out though, it’s going to be better than the 1994 Street Fighter film. Though Raúl Juliá is the best M. Bison ever, so it goes to show there’s a silver lining to every cloud.
