As we draw closer to the premiere of Marvel’s Luke Cage Netflix series, a new trailer gives us another look at the show’s gun-blazing action.

In the scene, powerful crime boss Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes (Mahershala Ali) works to tighten his grip on the gritty streets of Harlem, ordering a drive-by of a local barber shop. In doing so, he inadvertently creates a nemesis in the superhuman good Samaritan Luke Cage (Mike Colter).

An unscathed Cage’s bullet-riddled shirt leaves everyone—including the audience—wondering what’s going on with the show’s hero. We’ll just have until Cage makes his Netflix debut on September 30 to find out.
