The Chinese, already globally-renowned masters of bootlegging and piracy, have taken up the impossible feat of recreating George Miller’s Mad Max series. The results, seemingly edited on a free trial of Final Cut Pro and staged by a high school drama department, aren’t quite what you saw in Fury Road.
The half-baked trailer for Mad Shelia, just under a minute long, is short enough to bare and get a few laughs out of (maybe it’s a parody?). And for what it’s worth, there’s a girl in a crop top firing a gun at the 40-second mark.
