Magic Mike Is Back
Channing Tatum doesn’t want to dance. He needs to dance.
Last we saw Magic Mike, Channing Tatum’s male stripper alter-ego, he was leaving the stripping business behind to finally pursue his dream of becoming a furniture-maker. But perhaps that decision was short-lived. As Mike begins to toil with his tools, the memory of stripping returns to him (along with Ginuwine’s “Pony”) and all of a sudden, the Magic is back — and not a moment too soon.

Joe Manganiello returns as well, as Steven Soderbergh hands the directing reins to his long-time assistant director Gregory Jacobs. But don’t worry, Soderbergh is the cinematographer for Magic Mike XXL, so expect this film to be beautifully shot and wonderfully corny.
