Enter the World of ‘The Magnificent Seven’ With These New Character Videos

Get fired up with pistol-packing clips of Denzel Washington’s Wild West reboot.

The great movie western has sometimes felt like it was dead in the theater. If Sony has its way with the Denzel Washington-led reboot of The Magnificent Seven, we’re starting to believe the genre will come to life again. 

To further tease fans of the genre and hopefully of Washington’s co-stars, such as Chris Pratt, Sony has put out a new set of teasers that delve into each character making up the titular seven. 

While the video about Washington’s Bounty Hunter character Sam Chisholm can only be watched on Youtube, the other six character vignettes include Pratt’s roguish Gambler above and below, glances at Martin Sensmier’s native American bowman, Red Harvest, Ethan Hawke’s lean Sharpshooter, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as the expert gunfighter, an assassin played by Byung Hun-Lee, and Vincent D’Onofrio as Jack Horne, the hunter of the group.

So here they are, the seven who assemble to be improbable heroes as they try to rescue a town in the old west from a greedy robber baron. If nothing else, this movie looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
