Seattle resident Jonathan Nichols got a new Verizon cell phone plan in 2012 and shortly after started receiving a series of curious text messages that seemed too specific, and too frequent to be shrugged off as wrong numbers. According to a recent interview with The Seattle Times, Nichols said the texts and calls ramped up one day in August when he kept getting selfie after selfie of voluptuous ladies holding bottles of booze. Eventually, the clues on his phone added up to a hilarious discovery: Nichols' new Seattle digits had previously been the personal phone number for Sir Mix-A-Lot, the rapper made famous by exalting his love for big round butts in the hit song and accompanying video, "Baby Got Back."
When The Seattle Times got in touch with Sir Mix-A-Lot to tell him what happened he suggested that Nichols avoid checking any of his future text messages in front of his wife, and also left him with a request:
“Tell him any really sexy pictures — little in the middle, and if she’s got much back — give them the new number."
