Marshawn Lynch Just Gave $500 to a Young McDonald’s Worker

Beastmode? More like Bestmode.

TMZ, NFL player, and surveillance camera—combine those words in a sentence and Roger Goodell’s sphincter will pucker up tighter than a snare drum.

Unless they’re combined for this sentence: NFL player Marshawn Lynch was recently caught on a surveillance camera generously donating $500 to a young McDonald’s employee’s shoe fund, according to TMZ

The site reports that Lynch was in a Dallas McDonald’s after his Seahawks knocked off the Cowboys on November 1. After 17-year-old Terrance Downs complimented Lynch’s shoes, the two struck up a conversation. Downs told Lynch that he’s a fashion nut and wants to open his own boutique one day. He also wanted to snag a pair of shoes like Lynch’s.

“If you’re serious about getting those shoes, here’s some money to help you get ’em,” Lynch reportedly said, handing Downs five $100 bills. “My job is to continue to see you grow.”

Downs told TMZ that he used the cash to buy a pair of Buscemis. And now he’s even more motivated to achieve his dreams. He wants to follow in Lynch’s footsteps one day and help underpaid kids working at McDonald’s buy outrageously expensive shoes.
