This All-Cat Remix of Run the Jewels’ RTJ2 Is Incredible

El-P and Killer Mike released what many would call the best album of 2014 with Run the Jewels’ RTJ2. Over the weekend they made moves to top it, at least in the hearts, minds, and ears of cat lovers, with the feline sampling remix, Meow the Jewels. The album is being sold as a 12” on brown vinyl with a faux fur cover (all proceeds go to charity) or, if you just wanna hear it quick,  you can download it for free or stream it in full here and now. 

This cat rap project began as a joke deluxe edition of the second Run The Jewels album until a fan launched a successful Kickstarter to crowdfund the $40K to make it a reality. The internet is an endlessly beautiful place.
