Metallica’s Pre-Super Bowl Show Is Streaming For Free This Saturday

This is way better than waiting in line to get in.

Metallica are scheduled to play a sold out concert this Saturday in San Francisco but don’t worry, even if you couldn’t score a ticket, or live nowhere near California, the metal masters will be offering the show as a free live stream on their LiveMetallica site. The show, which they’re calling “The Night Before,” will be opened by Cage the Elephant, with Metallica taking the virtual stage at  8:30 p.m. PT on the 6th. 

“Keep watching the site and our social media outlets for updates all this week as the stage and production are built at the ballpark and we rehearse at HQ” the band said in an official statement about the live stream event.

Being offered the chance to experience live music in the comfort of your own home, without having to suffer bathroom lines or weirdos waving their arms around in your face is super hard to pass up.
