Lauryn Hill Makes Up for Missed Concert the Best Way Possible

When Ms. Hill couldn’t make it to Nigeria on account of travel delays, she brought out an old classic to make it up to her fans. 

After an almost decade-long self-imposed artistic silence, Lauryn Hill has been regularly touring over the past five years. She’s been steadily refining her repertoire and salvaging what had become a stagnant career beset by financial and mental health issues.

These days, Ms. Hill has been crisscrossing the globe to make up for lost time, and was scheduled to play in Nigeria over the weekend. Unfortunately, travel delays caused the postponement of the show, something Ms. Hill more than made up for in the video below, an acoustic version of her 1998 hit “Doo-Wop (That Thing).”
