Mythbusters Will Not Be Busting Any More Myths
The Discovery Channel series’ next season will be its last.
Fact or fiction? Mythbusters is ending its decade-plus run after the upcoming season.
Sadly, it’s true — The Discovery Channel announced today that its longest-running series will wrap up after the 16th season, which premieres in January. After that, we won’t be able to turn to Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman to test out some of our more far-fetched scientific assumptions, and put some pop culture claims under the microscope like they did multiple times with Breaking Bad.
But they won’t be out of our lives altogether: The duo is reportedly working on a scripted spy drama at CBS. Something tells us it will involve forensics.
