New ‘Daredevil’ Season 3 Trailer Reveals Matt Murdock’s Murdered-Out Disguise

“Darkness only responds to darkness.”

Marvel’s The Man Without Fear is back to take on a formidable old foe in the new trailer for the third season of Daredevil. 

The preview sees Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, trade his orange jumpsuit for a white tuxedo after cutting a deal to get out of prison. 

“He’s claiming to have changed,” the show’s titular star says. “But they don’t know him like I do.” 

Naturally, Daredevil is right. It seems he’s left with no choice but to once again transform from Matt Murdock into a crime-fighting superhero. But his time, his alter-ego wears a menacing, murdered-out disguise while exacting vengeance. 

“Darkness only responds to darkness,” he says.

Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock.

But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world, or embracing his destiny as a hero.
