WATCH: Another Preseason Fight Proves NFL Players Aren’t Deep Thinkers
The Rams and Cowboys went at it during a joint practice on Tuesday.
There comes a time in every football player’s career when he must ask himself an important question: Do I disregard all logic and punch a man in the face even though he’s wearing a helmet?
Increasingly, NFL players are answering with a resounding, “UGGGG” (that’s how they say, “Yes”). Just yesterday dozens of players on the Rams and Cowboys punched each other in the head, risking more damage to their own hands than their foe’s face. There were so many punches and pushes at a joint practice between the two teams, that coaches had to shut the whole thing down.
Here’s some video. Marvel as giant men in full body armor throw around other giant men in full body armor.
“There is no excuse for it. You can’t blame it on anybody. Fortunately nobody got hurt,” said Texans coach Jeff Fisher after the melee. But that’s not exactly true. Cowboys cornerback had “four red marks on his face” according to The Dallas Morning News. Tragic.
