Watch the Intense Red Band Trailer for Michael Bay’s Benghazi Drama

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi gets inside the heads and hearts of a heroic Special Ops team.

Based on the new red band trailer, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi looks to be one of the most intense movies you’ll see this year.

The September 11, 2012 attacks on two diplomatic compounds in Benghazi, Libya, killed four Americans and remains a hot-button political issue four years later. Michael Bay’s movie, based on Mitchell Zuckoff’s 13 Hours, zooms in on the six-man Special Operations team that was tasked with rescuing any survivors, apparently with little clear direction or support. The explosive trailer reminds us a bit of Zero Dark Thirty, and we’re guessing 13 Hours will be just as controversial.

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi opens in January 2016.
