Remember When Samuel L. Jackson Dropped an F-Bomb on “SNL”?

You should—it happened on Saturday.

You should—it happened on Saturday.

Usually, I just fast-forward through Kenan Thompson’s self-indulgent and thoroughly yawn-inducing “What Up with That” sketch on SNL (though it’s hard not to laugh at Jason Sudeikis’s part in the bit, which involves doing the running-man while decked out in full Adidas track suit regalia).

The recurring sketch, if you haven’t had the pleasure, is basically just a fake TV show hosted by Kenan Thompson, who sings a really annoying theme song while three “guests” (typically two real celebrities and Bill Hader as Lindsey Buckingham) wait to be interviewed, which never really happens because Kenan just interrupts them to start singing that goddamn song again. Hilarious, right? Not in the least. But this week I forgot how much I hate it, and I kept watching.

Well, I’m glad I stuck with it, because surprise guest Samuel L. Jackson (who is terrific in Django Unchained, by the way) managed to drop both an F-bomb and a “bullshit” during his 5 seconds of screen-time in the segment, which is a major no-no on live television. Jackson later took to Twitter, saying, “I only said FUH not FUCK! K was sposed to cut off da BULLSHIT, blew it!!”

Ohhh, “fuh,” as in, “I’ve had it with these muther-fuh-in snakes on this muther-fuh-in plane!” Whatever. Here’s the clipyou be the judge.
