This is not a drill: The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story teaser trailer landed Thursday morning, taking us back in time to the origin of the Rebel plan to steal the Death Star.

In the first glimpse of Gareth Edwards’ upcoming installment, Felicity Jones makes her debut as new Star Wars character Jyn Erso, a defiant, badass orphan and rebel leader. Forest Whitaker, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, and Diego Luna also appear — we can’t tell much about their characters or the plot in this 90 second bit, but that’s why it’s called a teaser. Consider us teased.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will premiere on December 16.
