Samuel L. Jackson Isn’t Too Sad About Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Divorce

It seems like he doesn’t really have time for such foolishness.

The world is still reeling from the shock of Hollywood super couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie filing for divorce. Celebs like George Clooney have reacted as any concerned colleague might, with sadness. Then there’s Samuel L. Jackson.

The actor with the finest f-bomb delivery to ever grace the silver screen was on Good Morning, Britain Thursday when his interviewer mentioned the Brangelina bust-up and said, “It’s just sad, isn’t it?”

Jackson reacted by first responding, “Is it?”

He then went on to acknowledge the way the breakup had been hashed out on social media and in the press and concluded, “…it’s a dissolution of another family and all those kids or whatever, but I don’t know why it’s everybody’s business, or why people care anyway.”

While possible reasons for the split as reported by outlets like TMZ are indeed sad, hats off to Samuel L. Jackson for delivering some hard truth about how he sees the situation—as only he could.
