The trailer dropped on August 29, which, as Connor notes, is the 12-year anniversary of what would have been the day that Skynet began its systematic elimination of the human race.
"August 29th, 1997 was supposed to be Judgement Day," she tells Mackenzie Davis' Grace, a soldier-assassin converted into a cyborg and sent from the future.
"Saved three billion lives. Enough of a resume for you?"
Grace reminds her that, despite what Connor came to believe in T2, fate is not set.
"You may have changed the future," Grace says. "But you won't change our fate."
We also see Grace beat the hell out of (but not kill!) multiple people, Gabriel Luna's "bad" Terminator take a lot of lead to the face, and the T-800 train Natalia Reyes' Dani Ramos to battle cybernetic organisms.
Oh, and Connor still does not trust Ahnuld's "good" Terminator.
"When this is all over, I am going to kill you," she promises. "I understand," it responds.
Whatever the plot is, Terminator: Dark Fate definitely looks awesome. We'll find out for sure when it blasts into theaters on November 1.
