Scott Eastwood Joins Cast of ‘Fast and Furious 8’

He’ll fit right in to the fast-paced movie franchise.

Scott Eastwood is in for the ride of his life as he joins newest cast member Charlize Theron in the wildly successful Fast and Furious franchise.

It’s the latest big gig for the son of legendary actor/director Clint Eastwood, who can be seen next in this August’s Suicide Squad (as Deathstroke, we hope). 

Both the 30-year old actor and Universal took to social media to let fans know of the recent casting, with the studio noting “Kurt Russell’s Mr. Nobody has a new protégé Welcome @ScottEastwood to the Fast family.” 

With what we know about Russell’s elusive and high strung government character from the previous Furious installment, one can assume Eastwood will fit into that agency before racing alongside Toretto and the rest of the clan. 

Fast and Furious 8 zooms into theaters on April 14th, 2017.
