Watch Shaquille O’Neal Go Undercover As a Lyft Driver

This is just ridiculous.

Atlanta commuters recently got the ride of their lives when Shaquille O’Neal took over for Undercover Lyft, a pretty inspired marketing series that hires celebrities to pose as ordinary car-share drivers. 

O’Neal’s passengers (who all sat in the front seat, suggesting that maybe this series is more scripted than they’d have us believe) chatted up the 7’1″, 340 pound driver in a variety of disguises: Charles, a bracelet maker; Pierre, a Frenchman who can’t speak French (those his passenger could!); and a sort-of Rastafarian, to name a few. 

Most of the passengers seem to be pretty sure there’s someone else behind the costume. Even a passenger from Brazil suspects his driver might be the former Lakers and Miami Heat star. 

Turns out you can’t hide Shaq behind a glowstache after all.
