Somebody Remixed Obama’s ‘Pop Off’ Comments Into a Song and It’s Not Half Bad
You can’t say anything these days without it becoming a meme. Thanks, Obama.
During a recent speech at the G2O summit in Turkey, President Obama let his penchant for casual phrasings fly, resulting in an irresistible sound bite that has now been made into yet another meme in the meme factory.
While discussing ISIS, Obama addressed those who are criticizing his defense plan as being too “weak” by saying “Folks want to pop off and have opinions on what they think they would do, present a specific plan.” Well, if you recall how the media ate up the presidential fist bump between the Obamas that took place a few years back, you can imagine how this was met similarly.
Now, Soundcloud user JX Cannon has made Obama’s “pop off” sound bite into a dubstep remix, and you know what, it’s actually pretty good.
